My EarthquakeNews twitter project is up and going again. I'm taking the USGS RSS feed of real time reports of world-wide earthquakes, magnitude 2.5 and larger. I had let the Earthquake News project sit untended for a while as I considered the problem with links back to the USGS Earthquake Center. Without going into detail, links from the tweets back to the USGS just weren't working. To solve that problem I've just gone with no links in the the tweets. Not totally satisfactory, but better than readers clinking on one dead link after another. Visitors wanting more information on the latest earthquakes can link through to the USGS Earthquake Center through the link in the right sidebar.
