Rembrandt's 1659 Self-Portrait on a Clock/Watch

According to Rembrandt Myself,
When scholars began to study Rembrandt in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries they were surprised by the large number of self portraits. It was discovered that he had painted himself on at least forty occasions, had etched himself thirty-one
times, and made a handful of drawings.

That's a lot of introspection. I'm partial to his 1659 self-portrait now at the National Gallery of Art. Love those craggy features.

I used this painting of Rembrandt as the underlying art for a new clock face design. Added a signature and roman numerals which duck behind his beret.

My Rembrandt Clock is available at my eBay store, All-4-Corners. Also available is the Rembrandt Wristwatch with same face design.
