Nosferatu, Creepy Vampire Uncut

Since I blogged on some of my Count Orlok designs I have been made aware that not everyone is familiar with the 1922 vampire movie, Nosferatu. So, as a public service here is the full movie for your viewing pleasure. I found this at youtube, and it appears to be a later issue of the film, as the names have been changed to match Bram Stoker's characters. The original 1922 version had the vampire named Count Orlok so as to avoid a copyright fight with Stoker.

New Count Orlok Lighter Designs

Added another Count Orlok design to the inventory. Count Orlok is the creepy vampire from the 1922 movie Nosferatu. I've used the same basic art for Count Orlok watches, clocks and cigarette cases, but came up with a new look at his creepiness for a windproof lighter. Check it out...Count Orlok Flip Top Lighter.

Spookiest All-Time Vampire - Count Orlok

For my money, this dude was the creepiest of movie vampires...Count Orlok from the 1922 silent film, Nosferatu. Here's the Count gracing one of my new cigarette cases now available at All-4-corners, my eBay store...the Nosferatu Cigarette Case.

My Favorite Oboe Design at RetroRanger

Oh hey, while I'm on the subject of oboes (see below), I'm reminded of my favorite oboe design at my Cafepress store, RetroRanger.
This is my Oboe Love T-Shirt...reading "Someday I'll Find A Man As Worthy As My Oboe."
No, I have no idea what that means.

Oboe Recital Hinged Metal Case

Debuted some eBay auctions today for a new line of decorative hinged metal cases. OK, officially they are cigarette cases, but I think the potential user base is limited if I sell them as strictly cigarette cases. Its not the 1960s anymore...back when everybody and his mother was a slave to the demon nicotine.
Here's one...this is the Oboe Recital Hinged Metal Case. Its a dandy little metal box, and the artwork is something I've had for a long while...just been looking for a place to use it. The art is based on an antique 1850s wood engraved print from my own collection. Seems this itinerant musician and his dog stop at a farmhouse to perform for a couple of healthy lasses. Observant readers will note that the musician is actually playing what looks like an early english horn and not an oboe.
The Oboe Recital Hinged Metal Case...get it today with your government stimulus money and help spur my economy.

Assorted Colors of iBone Belt Buckles

I've taken to including a graphic showing the different available background colors for the iBone Belt Buckles I sell on eBay. See if this doesn't encourage more sales.
Never miss a chance to flash some pretty colors.

Another Reason to Love Hulu

Land of the Giants was the coolest show ever, When I was 10 years old. See, the crew of a sub-orbital transport ship is tossed by an intersteller storm onto a world where everything is like Earth, except 12 times bigger. Just one of the great old TV shows that steal my time these days. Curse you Hulu.

Cigarette Cases Coming Soon

Back before the big house move last week I got some samples of the cigarette cases in the mail from Artsnow. I didn't have time until today to sit down and take a look at them. And I'm liking what I see.
The cases are well constructed. The edges all line up nicely. The springs are good and strong. The graphics are clear and the acrylic coating is smooth and clear.
I'm hoping these can be good sellers at my ebay store, All-4-Corners. I don't think there is overwhelming demand for cigarette cases anymore, but these can be put to other uses...such as card cases or little money boxes or for holding sewing kits or as a hidey-hole for any small items. The key to marketing these will be showing users the different possible uses.
Hopefully by the end of the week I'll be able to get some of these listed on eBay and we'll see what they can do.

1951 Studebaker - Best Selling Clock of April

I like to crunch numbers at the end of every month to see which designs have sold best for what items. Usually I will have noticed what's selling from the day-to-day business, but an end of the month recap helps me know what items are being accepted by the marketplace and could possibly benefit from extra marketing efforts.
Top selling clock for April is the 1951 Studebaker Wall Clock, featuring a flashy red bullet-nose. I have a few different Studebaker designs and have noticed that the Studebaker folks (Studs? Studys?) do adore their cars. There are Studebaker Drivers Clubs in all the major cities and they love to show up at the show and shines.
