NoMo RoMo - Tony Cans Cafepress

Looks like most all the Romo designs have been purged from Cafepress. No more cute little t shirts that say "Mrs Romo." No more puzzling "Hex Romo" sweatshirts. No more "Homo For Romo" ringer t's. They are all gone. Purged.
How about the t-shirt that read "Got Romo?" Its gone. Is it because it infringes on the Milk Producers "Got Milk?" campaign? No. It's gone because some guy named Tony Romo thinks he owns all rights to the word Romo.
So if you want a "Romosexual" tee shirt, you're pretty much out of luck. There's no way in hell you're going to find it at the local mall. Perhaps its time to break out the old screen printing kit.

Clocks Are Just Big Watches

Since I'm fiddling around with designing watch faces, I might as well do some clocks too. The watches I have made for me in Hong Kong, but the clocks I can have done by Cafepress.
Here's the Vladimir Lenin Clock I just uploaded to my Cafepress store, RetroRanger.

Hmmm...How About A Scientist Watch

A new interest I have is designing watch faces...something unique and different.
Like what? Hell, I don't know. I'm just figuring this out myself. So I'm trying a variety of different ideas. Run 'em up the flagpole and see who salutes.
Hey, how about a watchface featuring the Father of the Nuclear Reactor, everybody's favorite nuclear physicist, Enrico Fermi. I bet there would be a stampede of four-eyed geeks storming the gates of the reactor for this!

I kid you not...I put this up on eBay and got a $20 bid in two days. I guess I better work up a Robert Oppenheimer.

John Dillinger Goes To The Movies

I'm having a great time designing watch faces. The challenge is to create an image that is visually bold enough to hold its own when shrunk down to an inch and a half square. Dig this watch I just finsihed...John Dillinger at the Biograph Theatre.

John Dillinger was the creme de la creme of American gangster in the early 1930s...Public Enemy Number One. The end came when a double dealing dame tipped the G-Men that John was taking in a movie at the Biograph Theatre. He met his end leaving the theater as the tommyguns rained lead.
I haven't loaded this watch up on StarWatches yet...too many watches too little time. But the John Dillinger Watch is listed on eBay...why doncha go buy it and make me and Dillinger's ghost happy.

Capt. Jack Wristwatch on eBay

One of my StarWatches listed in my eBay store, All-4-Corners. I mostly sell old paper on eBay, but set up a category to try some of my watches. So far results have been promising.
This is my Capt. Jack Wristwatch. A pirate design...since everybody should have at least one pirate design. This is mine.

Benazir Bhutto Watch at StarWatches

StarWatches is a new store I've opened up at BuyItSellIt. It's a free store with a lot of features, easy to layout, and no fees to pay...can't beat free!
Anyway, I'm stocking StarWatches with some watches I'm sourcing from ArtsNow. ArtsNow is a Hong Kong outfit...you provide the graphic art and they dropship the watch to the customer. Pretty neat setup as I don't have to shell out any cash for inventory.
One of the first designs I uploaded was a watch face honoring Benazir Bhutto, who's assassination just happened to coincide with this project. I can offer this watch for $19.99 with free shipping, order the product through ArtsNow, and make a pretty fair profit.

Gnu Makins, or The Latest Fixins

Brand new blog where I can record and document the my latest creations...t-shirts, watches, clock faces, coffee mugs, whatever. These are designs from my Cafepress stores and also the work I'm doing with Artsnow and other suppliers yet to be discovered. I'll still keep TShirtWorks going and list new t-shirt designs there. And I suppose I'll blog them here too...the more the merrier.
