These are not the largest or most-heavily trafficked sites, but we have found these particular sites to be free, easy to list in, and liberal with what they will allow in terms of marketing messages. I've been enjoying Sherlock Holmes movies my whole life...nothing better when I was a kid then those old Basil Rathbone creepers on the tv. Now I, and everyone else, am looking forward to the December release of the second Robert Downey Jr. Sherlock Holmes flick…A Game of Shadows. The new trailer is just out and will be hitting all the theaters this weekend. We’ve got a copy of it for our Baker Street Bijou video site and are posting it here as well. Enjoy!
We're big fans around here of Sherlock Holmes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's consulting detective. Recently we put together a website where we could gather and archive all the various movies and television programs featuring Sherlock. There are a bunch available all over the web, but that's the problem for casual web surfers...they are all over the web. Plus a lot of those video sites are really cluttered up with pop-up ads and other annoying features. Our idea is to have them all in one place, without a bunch of stupid clutter, and so is born Baker Street Bijou.

We love the musical "Hairspray" around here, and I finally got around to putting together a Hardy Har Hut graphic for a CafePress t-shirt.
In Hairspray, the Hardy Har Hut is the joke shop operated by Tracy Turnblad's easy-going, somewhat goofy dad Wilbur. In the 2007 movie version the role is played by Christopher Walken. In the outtake above poor Wilbur is in the store and is at the mercy of beautiful Velma Von Tussle's plans for seduction. All helpless Wilbur can do to fend off the lovely Michelle Pfeiffer character's advances is toss Hardy Har Hut gag gifts at her.
For the shirt graphic we recreated some of the visual's of the 2007 movie, including the main Hardy Har Hut store sign and the happy faces graphics from the high front windows of the store. And down below is the "Fun, Jokes & Magic" sign from the lower window.
I hope fans of Hairspray and all you Beehive Harlots will enjoy the Hardy Har Hut t-shirt! You'll also find coffee cups and mouse pads and aprons and other CafePress stuff with the graphic.
A couple of new websites just launched. Nothing big, just expansions of the Savant7 cluster.
First is the Boil Water Advisory site. Continuously updated reports of boil water advisories issued by municipal water suppliers. It will be interesting to see if individual articles can outrank local media sites and their similar reports.
Also underway is the Welder Jobs in Texas website. If this draws a following then we just may bust out the concept to other areas or other job titles or both.

Did put a video together today for the "Always Ask For Jenny" shirt design, that was a classic advertising tagline for the historic Genesee Brewing Company of Rochester, New York. Vintage advertising art from the 1950s.
The modern Genesee Brewing sells a budget beer as "Genny." But this is our old favorite girl Jenny.
